2. In order to make the blade sharper and brighter, a precise grinding of the blade should be carried out with an oilstone before cutting, and some soap and paraffin should be applied to the blade to extend its service life and make the cut edges smoother.
3. The balance between the left and right, top and bottom of the cutting knife is mainly achieved by adjusting the screws in the sliding groove of the knife door. If the adjusting screws are turned clockwise, the paper cutting knife will be adjusted higher, and vice versa. Due to the different heights of the blades (new blades are higher, old blades that have been ground are lower), operators must adjust the height of the cutting tool frame (tool holder) in a timely manner when exchanging blades to prevent damage to mechanical components or the formation of safety installation fractures.
4. Pay attention to the wear condition of the left and right stoppers inside the knife door when the cutting knife is used for a long time. When the adjustment of the left and right screws cannot meet the requirements, it is necessary to adjust the left and right stoppers to meet the requirements.
5. After changing the tool, it is necessary to stop a detailed inspection. If any abnormal phenomena are found, exchange them in a timely manner. If there are no errors, empty cut several times before stopping cutting.
